The Taj Mahal, Amber Fort and Humayun’s Tomb are the highlights of this sublime tour.
What to expect
The Golden Triangle Tour is best covered by road to enjoy the countryside across rural India. Each city is located within the range of 200-250 kilometers of each other which can be covered in 3-5 hours each. The imposing Indo-Islamic architecture across the three cities will take you back in the yesteryears and will leave you spell-bounded.

Note: Lotus Temple, Red Fort and Akshardham Temple remain closed on Mondays. Taj Mahal remains closed on Fridays. Please plan your itinerary accordingly.
Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
You will be picked up from the airport and transferred to a hotel or an Airbnb (Superhost) where you will be greeted by a tour manager. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure and explore the city or head out for a bit of shopping.
Day 2: Delhi/Jaipur
You will be picked up at 9 am in the morning in an air-conditioned car along with an English speaking tour operator. You will be given an option to visit any 5 sites of your choice out of Delhi’s innumerable breathtaking sites which include the iconic 73-meter tall Qutub Minar, the largest mosque of Delhi – Jama Masjid, mausoleum of the famous Emperor Humayun – Humayun’s tomb, India gate – an iconic war memorial in the heart of Delhi, the intricately carved Akshardham Temple, Lotus Temple – considered to be one of the most visited buildings in the world, one of the most magnificent monuments of Delhi – The Red Fort, one of the oldest forts of Delhi – the Old Fort, Raj Ghat – the place where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, or the bustling markets of Chandni Chowk – situated in Old Delhi where you can buy souvenirs and get the taste of some exotic local cuisine . You will also enjoy a drive through the President’s House, Parliament House and Connaught Place. You will also be served lunch in an Indian house with a variety of Indian food on offer to give you an insight into the Indian culture. You could opt to have lunch at an Indian or Western restaurant of your choice out of the options available. This tour will end at 4 pm after which you will be transported to Jaipur. You can spend the rest of the evening resting after being checked-in into a 3-star hotel.
Day 3: Jaipur/ Agra
09:00 am – The tour will commence at 09:00 am and you will be picked up from your hotel and taken for sightseeing in an air-conditioned private car.
09:15 am – Arrival at the first UNESCO listed site, Amber Fort which is situated at a ridge just outside the City of Jaipur. Explore the royal architecture of this magnificent fort and witness richly decorated elephants around the fort.
11:00 am – Visit the Nahargarh Fort, standing on the edge of the Aravalli Hills and overlooking the city of Jaipur. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the city after which you will be driven past the Water Palace which is also known as the ‘Jal Mahal’.
1:00 pm – Visit the City Palace which is situated in the core of the ‘Pink City’. This beautiful palace is the souvenir of Jaipur’s majestic history and comprises of vast courtyards, numerous edifices and lush green gardens.
2:00 pm – Stop at a popular cafe for lunch which is overlooking the Palace of Winds also knows as the ‘Hawa Mahal’.
3:00 pm – Walk past Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) which is a famous image on every postcard of Jaipur. You will given an option of doing a short shopping tour in the bustling markets of the ‘Pink City’ which offers a wide range of products. You can take away souvenirs for yourself and buy gifts for special ones back home.
4:00 pm- After a memorable day, start the drive to the city of Taj Mahal: Agra
9:00 pm- Arrive in Agra and transferred to your hotel.
Day 4: Agra/Delhi
06:00 am- Watch the first rays of sun fall on the most iconic building in India: The Taj Mahal! It is a spectacular sight at sunrise. Millions of travelers pay visit to the Taj every year and only a few leave disappointed. Designed to reflect the pure beauty of Shah Jahan’s wife Mumtaz, the entire complex was completed in 22 years and needed more than 20,000 people to work on it. You will be intrigued to witness the blend of Persian, Islamic and Indian architectural styles together making it the Mughal architectures finest work ever.
08:30 am- Back to the hotel for breakfast which will be complimentary with your stay at the hotel.
09:30 am- Arrive at the Agra Fort, which will be the last stop for this trip. Explore the serenity of this iconic fort which is made of red sandstone and was built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D. The local guide will help you understand the trivialities of this beautiful fort which is a reminder of the Mughals’ roots.
11:00 am- After a fulfilling couple of days, start the drive back to Delhi with wonderful memories of a once-in-a-lifetime trip.
2:30 pm- Drop off at either your hotel in Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida or the Delhi airport or the train station.
